Our goal is to make you feel like the aircraft you fly is your own. As a member, you are free to reserve planes for a whole day, overnight, an entire weekend or longer.
There are NO MINIMUM DAILY CHARGES, NO OVERNIGHT FEES and NO EXTRA FEES. You pay only for the flight time when you reserve a plane.
- Members pay tachometer rates for most of our aircraft. Savings of 10-30% compared with Hobbs rates are typical (if you aren't familiar with this concept, call us for an explanation).
- Our three weather briefing and flight planning stations are equipped with phones and PC access to DUAT and other Internet weather products through our ultra fast T1 Internet connection.
- Scheduling and dispatching is available 24 hours a day - 7 days a week.
- Members who wish to interact professionally, may participate in our Member Resource Program.
- We sponsor regular Safety Seminars which are free to all members and also qualify as part of the FAA Wings Program.
- Our fleet is continually being enhanced and updated
- All aircraft are IFR equipped
- Most have autopilots installed
- All have intercoms
- Almost all have RNAV, LORAN, or GPS
The "Members only" area on our web site allows you to view the availability of your favorite plane on our live web schedule, download Windy City Flyers information and forms, and leave messages for fellow members on our web board to:
- Share a ride/expenses.
- Safety Pilot - offer to be one or ask for one.
- Ask a CFI.
- Cool places to fly.
- Fly Market - to buy, sell or trade equipment.
- Member Networking - most of our members are very successful in various different professions.
